Who is ditzy doo

Although, in Winter Wrap up, a pony stated that "Ditzy Doo" went north, to gather up the southern birds, and I'd believe she's talking about the same person Ditzy Doo wasn't really seen, but she was mentioned in winter wrap up by going north. You later see a pony bringing home the bird, but there is no remark that she was Ditzy.

I thought they only considered naming her Ditzy Doo after the fans noticed it had a derp face, and thus named her derpy. I think it's fanon as well since there's a lot of pegasi with gray coats and blonde manes. As far as I know it's Derpy Hooves. If you go onto Fanfiction. Derpy Hooves is first before Ditzy Doo. And as far as I'm concerned Derpy sounds better then being called Ditzy Doo right?

She's nameless on the show, everyone calls her Derpy though. I prefer Ditzy Doo because it sounds more like it belongs in the show and makes her sound more fluffy and light. Derpy Hooves sounds stupid and too Basically, what others have said about Ditzy: it was simply a random unseen pony mentioned in Winter Wrap-Up.

Lauren said she may apply that name to Derpy's design, but never actually did because she just isn't named on the show. Some fans began to apply it anyway, and so it goes.

In School Raze - Part 1 , Derpy delivers mail to the School of Friendship , accidentally smacking into the front of the school before giving the mail to Cozy Glow. Derpy has her first significant speaking role in The Last Roundup. The scene starts with Rainbow Dash getting the tip of her tail singed by a lightning bolt, coming from a gray storm cloud that Derpy is bouncing on.

Dash tells her, "Now, careful, Derpy! Don't want to do any more damage than you've already done", pointing to the broken and crashing roof of the Ponyville town hall. Derpy replies, "I just don't know what went wrong", and shocks herself from another bolt of lightning from the cloud she's bouncing on. She flies by Rainbow Dash and compliments her work, but bumps into a pillar behind her and sends it hurtling to the ground. Rainbow Dash tries to stop it but she smashes through the floor with the pillar.

Derpy sticks her head in the hole asking if Rainbow Dash is okay and asks if there's anything she can do to help, but Rainbow Dash flies up and tells her to sit there and do nothing. When Derpy sits down in response, the floor below her starts to crack and she falls through, grabbing Rainbow Dash and pulling her down along for the ride. When Mayor Mare gives her speech in honor of Applejack , Derpy sticks out of the hole in the broken floor and cheers for Applejack, but she lets go and falls down once again.

Her eyes are crossed through the majority of the scene. Derpy is voiced by Tabitha St. Germain in both cuts of the episode. Rogers was requested by Faust [56] to rename the pony to "Derpy" as a "tip of the hat" to fans. The episode was removed from iTunes a week after its release and put back up on 24 February , with Derpy's scene altered: a few words are omitted from the dialog, in particular Rainbow Dash does not name Derpy, Derpy's voice is different and more feminine, and Derpy's eyes are not as acutely crossed in a few of the shots in the scene.

An April 14, rerun of the episode on the Hub uses the altered scene, but the closed captions were not adjusted. The decision to alter the character was made by Hasbro or The Hub, in response to emails complaining about the character's portrayal and the word "Derpy", both of which have been taken as offensive to people with disabilities. In the European Spanish version, the voice credits name her "Derpy", although Rainbow Dash doesn't refer to her by name.

In the Hungarian dub, Derpy is voiced by a male voice actor. Derpy has her second speaking role on the show in the episode Slice of Life , in which she accidentally messes up Matilda 's wedding invitations. She shares the majority of her scenes with Dr. The credits name her as "Muffins" like in some previous materials. During the Storm King 's invasion of Canterlot, Tempest Shadow turns the princesses into obsidian statues and Derpy gets caught in the crossfire, turning into a statue instead of Twilight.

She is later returned to normal after the princesses' magic is discharged from the Storm King's staff. Derpy appears in the IDW comics as a minor character.

Her makeshift home is shown in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Issue 10 , shown to be a broken chrysalis with a mailbox designated " D. Hooves ". On Friendship is Magic Issue 18 page 12, an alternate version of Derpy, wearing glasses, holding a book and with her eyes not derped, is shown in a stained glass window labeled "Wisdom".

She also has a line of dialogue in each, but in the latter her speech is muffled. Of the two panels that she appears in, the first has her appearance modeled from Lauren Faust 's sketch. Derpy is a character in Gameloft's mobile game. As a non-playable character, usually called "the pony in the box", she hides under a box at random locations and gives the player bits and occasionally gems when tapped; the text of quests involving her suggests she is well-liked by the other characters and they will go out of their way to interact with her after she is uncovered.

As a playable character, called "Lazy Fan", she wears her Dr. Caballeron costume from Stranger Than Fan Fiction. Her in-game description states, "No matter what the situation may be, you can count on her to be there in the background! Just don't ask her to pull a chariot. This version acts as a boss battle helper during the "Rarity's Retro Revolution" event. The game's description of Mail Muffins states, "Yes, of course this pony has a day job.

How else would you expect her to fund her lifelong 'showing up in the background' hobby? The two ghouls eventually fell in love and ended up together. The story takes place after the last day and the aftermath of the fallout, covering Ditzy Doo's two hundred year backstory.

Ditzy Doo arrived in Cloudsdayle to pick up a shipment of medical supplies, designated for Canterlot. Ditzy headed for Hope first as she had another delivery to make there first. As Ditzy Doo flew, she was just in the safe zone at the edge of the first megaspell that vaporized Cloudsdayle.

Ditzy was forced to make a crash landing, injuring both of her forelegs. She awoke soon after her crash landing, the revelation of the apocalypse and seeing her first dead pony, causing Ditzy to pass out. She awoke again a few hours later and managed to pack some medical supplies and look for survivors. She stumbles across the Pie family's rock farm, where she recieves proper medical treatment.

Ditzy and several survivors journey to Ponyville, Blinkie opting to stay on the farm. The journey claims the life of one survivor suffering from severe burns. The rest of the journey is uneventful. Upon arriving in Ponyville, Ditzy and the survivors begin inspecting the town for supplies. They discover the town has plenty of medicine and food for their needs, but also that the capital of Canterlot has fallen due to the Pink Cloud megaspell, that was deployed there.

Ditzy and May are also suffering the first stages of ghoulfification, losing patches of their fur, despite their best efforts to resist. Ditzy and May decide to make the journey to Manehatten where Turntable and several survivors are living in the Ministry of Arcane Sciences MAS , broadcasting news and music, whilst also looking for any helpful information they can share with Equestria at large.

Upon arriving at the Ministry Hub, Ditzy is shot by a powerful rifle, which May manages to treat with ease. The guards initially mistaking them for zombie ponies, deny the two access to the tower, unless they can bring some food and medicine. Ditzy and May travel to the Ministry of Peace hub, encountering their first Balefire Phoenix on the way.

The phoenix enlarged by massive amounts of radiation, attacks the two ghouls. Ditzy Doo manages to trick the Phoenix into collapsing a building, which topples over on top of the phoenix and the two ghouls.

Fortunately, May is able to protect them both from the collapsing building. They reach the Ministry Hub where they encounter a partially frozen, feral ghoul. The feral ghoul lunges at them both, managing to pin down May before she can reload her pistol. Ditzy who gets knocked back trying to pull off the feral, finds a knife which she uses to kill the feral zombie ghoul. Ditzy and May now with supplies of food and medicine which they purify via a one-use talisman, deliver the goods to the MAS hub, where they discover that the supplies whilst not in desperate need, are nonetheless appreciated.

Ditzy and May deliver news of Canterlot and Ponyville's status as a safe place, before returning to Ponyville themselves.

In the interlude, it is revealed that Blinkie has passed away due to old age, Raider set up a family with a mare named Honeydew in Ponyville. Gizmo arrived in Fillydelphia where he relayed the news that 96 out of stables were confirmed to have closed successfully, saving roughly 85, lives.

Ditzy and May spend the next forty years exploring the wasteland, seeking out other pockets of civilization and offering help and aid where they could. Though some settlements shot at them on sight, preventing them from providing aid. They also explored irradiated locations and facilities, that were too deadly for regular ponies to enter. Forty years since the balefire apocalypse, Ditzy Doo and May encounter a herd of mutated cattle, now Brahmin.

One of the Brahmin they speak with is Mooriel who explains that the local Radhog 's have become violent recently. They source of their aggression is revealed to be ponies hunting the radhogs for their meat. They manage to convince the guards to let them see Raider who is revealed to be the son of the original Raider a.

The young Raider escorts the two ghoul mares out of Ponyville, letting them live as he wouldn't be alive if they hadn't helped establish Ponyville. Ditzy notes the gruesome cutie marks that the new generation of Ponyville ponies have, signs of the first generation of Raiders.

Ditzy and may soon find Stronghoof at the Macintosh War memorial, where he explains what happened to Ponyville. News that certain Stables are beginning to open, prompts Ditzy and May to seek out information at a Stable-Tec facility in Fillydelphia on which Stables are opening so they can offer aid to the ponies entering the wasteland. They pass through Appleloosa, which has become a ghost town, Ditzy and May move on and after several days of travel, which involved passing through a vicious sandstorm, they emerge on the other side of the desert.

The two follow pre-war roads to Fillydelphia, when they recieve an emergency broadcast, asking for assistance from Stable DItzy and May arrive and find a Steel Ranger buried under rubble from a rock slide. They pull him out and discover he is in fact, their old friend Gizmo.

Gizmo, Ditzy and May enter Stable 67 to rescue the ponies inside from attacking bandits. The trio are succesful, though Gizmo's Owl-bot , Gearwing is damaged.

Of the inhabitants, nearly have been killed by the bandits. Gizmo advices them to check out Stable 12, which is located in Trottingham. In Trottingham, Ditzy and May find a community of ghouls, survivors of Stable 12 and other wasteland ghouls who have banded together and founded the settlement of Necropolis. Ditzy and May meet some of the local ghouls, including the local sheriff and town leader, Rotting Tail.

Ditzy, May and Rotting Tail enter Stable 12 to locate important ghoul research done by Stable 12's doctor, Fixit and to kill the feral ghouls populating the Stable.

Ditzy and her companions discover that Stable 12 was made faulty deliberately, to study the effects of long-term exposure to balefire radiation. The Stable engineers failed to take into account, the levels of radiation that Trottingham might be subjected to, meaning that even though the radiation leak was small, it was far more potent than the stable was built to deal with. The three ghouls kill the feral ghouls inside the stable, collect Fixit's research and destroy any recordings of what actually happened in Stable 12 to spare the ghoul ponies in Necroplois from further grief.
