You can still use the payment plan like in the past, but you no longer will get to purchase passes at a discount before the lineup is released.

Stagecoach released their lineup on September 13th, far in advanced of when they normally do, and its a big one. Obviously the big get this year will be Garth Brooks' closing set on Sunday as it will be his first official headling spot at any U. Given the huge crowds he draws and the rarity of his tours we are expecting big crowds at Stagecoach , and possibly a quick sellout. This will include access to all stages and access to all activities throughout the festival such as the HonlyTonk Dance Hall, BBQ food vendors, and more.

You get some goodies in the form of souveneirs from the festival, but ultimately you are really paying for location. Each of these passes has access to special areas closer to the stage. If you have general admission passes you essentially need to be among the giant crowd and fight your way up for a good spot, or simply get there early and not move all day.

If you have the upgraded VIP areas you have a designated area where you can come and go as you please and always have a good spot. These areas have a good amount of people in them but no where near the Stagecoach general admission area. The locations are directly in front of the stage, you could not get a better seat.

If you want the absolute best seats for Stagecoach and to not worry about getting a good spot these are the way to go if you can afford it. The Stagecoach map is shown below. You can see the corral standing area is directly in front of the Mane Stage and the corral seating areas are directly behind those.

This depends what you want to do at Stagecoach and your budget. If you are going for the experience, to go check out all the activities, and check out a few shows you should be fine with just the general admission passes. If you are a huge country music fan and want to see a ton of shows with a good seat you should opt for the Stagecoach VIP passes if you can afford it.

They are a steep price increase from the Stagecoach general admission passes, but they do offer you the best seats. Also, keep in mind the costs are probably justified given how expensive good seats to the headlining acts can be. That said, I have gone to Stagecoach GA the majority of the time and always have a great time. In years past Stagecoach did a presale in July and a general sale in November. During the presale the lineup wasn't out yet so you saved some money because there was no guarantee you'd like the lineup.
