For Etheria! The Chromatic Games Team. Enter the Emerald City! Greetings Defenders!! There is a new update coming your way. This update is a little different than our previous ones. We are breaking up the update we had originally planned into a smaller update that we can get to you quicker much quicker.

New Functionality. Return to Crystalline Dimension Update. Tavern Expansion Update. Greeting Defenders!! We know the wait has been quite long but you dont have to wait any longer. The Tavern Expansion has arrived! Thank you for your patience and feedback this past year as we worked through it all. Please read the note below Highlights. All rights reserved. We've received positive feedback from all areas of the community including new and returning players. Outside of the package mismatch error the overall launch has been going quite smoothly from what we've seen and has been reported to us at Chromatic Games. With all that in mind, all launches of something new or major updates cause bugs to come along that need to be squashed that affect the player experience and of course unforeseen balance issues.

Instead of waiting for the next bigger update of Redux a bunch of changes are coming in today to make Redux even better experience especially during the holiday break.

Since a lot of maps are affected by this update this patch is going to be quite large. New Dungeon Defenders Game and Update! Continue reading for more info, or click the small picture below to check it out!

Greetings, Defenders! For over four years now the CDT has been creating content, fixing bugs, adding new features, and so much more to keep the game alive longer.

Weekly meetings, reviewing feedback from the community, and internal debates on the best way to implement new changes felt like watching a small indie studio creating the best updates they could. Sincerely, -Ice Patch Notes.

Earlier this week we revealed what we were working on so far this year, Dungeon Defenders: Awakened! As Chromatic Games, we're a new studio which can you read about here [forums. Since a lot of maps are affected by this update this patch is going to be quite large.

You should no longer run in to this error when joining another defender's game. There is a new icon for Ranked. New Features: Special one-time reward Divine and Void quality bracers have been added. True Boss Rush now rewards Divine and Void Misplaced Old One bracers with random stats as well as the otherwise Tavernkeeper shop exclusive weapons on map completion on Ascension difficulty. A portal has been added to all taverns that teleports players to the Forge Room.

Added a button to the hero info screen to move all items on a character to your item box. The Jester's presents can now spawn all of the new towers. Akatiti Jungle on Ascension difficulty will now reward the Sea Turtle on a Treadmill from Temple of Water if the secret code is performed. The Apprentice's Snowball tower now freezes wyverns and makes them fall to the ground after two hits.

Their targeting has also been adjusted to prefer wyverns and targets that are not currently frozen. Balance Changes: Fixed an issue causing weapons and pets to roll Divine half as often as intended. Ruthless mode will now correctly increase the wave stat multiplier for items that drop on the ground. In addition, the item quality bias of how high a stat rolls on average buff that Ruthless applies to ground drops has been increased Ice has worked with the team behind DD1 Redux and found a way for CG to provide official branch support here on steam for the overhauled version of DD1.

Check out the summary, the story and the massive change log below. Shoutout to all of the fans who worked on this project, we are proud to support their work and provide a new opportunity for veterans of DD1 and newcomers alike!

What is Redux? Redux is a re-imagining of what is possible using the base form of Dungeon Defenders with no limits. The CDT updates were limited in balance changes, map changes, and types of additions. However without these limitations Redux could be designed differently. This time design is heavily influenced by player feedback from all aspects, resulting in an experience that may feel better for the player overall.

New features are far more extravagant than anything could ever have been done before, still maintaining the soul of how people enjoy the game most. Redux is filled with new content in the form of new maps, game modes, difficulties, quality of life changes, and other systemic overhauls. Ever since the official updates for the game content-wise have ceased I decided to pick up this project again.

I did all of this out of love for the community because I was afraid to see the game die. Lastly, I want to give my full thanks to CG, the Redux community, and especially Ice for giving us this once in a lifetime opportunity.

There is no method of Ranked to trigger this copy a second time. There is no method to transfer anything save related from Redux Ranked to the original Ranked save. Local: Your save will automatically copy from DunDefHeroes.

Future Updates: Currently there is no specific date on a future update for Redux but there are plans to have them in the future as the Redux team needs and wants to add additions. A: No. Due to the drastic changes and the original state of what DD1 is today the game is considered complete and in a stable state.
