Good solution for LAN, because the person can play, yet you don't have to give someone your actual key. Bad for internet because there's lots of piracy and it's a pretty obvious number. If this guy really bought the game, I see nothing wrong with him using his friend's CD key. They will both be able to play online at the same time. It is possible for two people with the same key to be online, but that's something he'd have to talk over with his friend.

Calling them did not work for me. I offered to send them a pic of me with the real legit CD, and they still would not. So I called them up and complained. I gave them the CD key that was on the case, and they told me it was invalid and I should buy another copy. Point being : calling them does not work. If you manage it somehow, let me know.

Thats horseshit if you bought and lost THERE cdkey, you should be able to just call them and get a new one, not a very good way to sell a product if ya ask me, hell I guess you could tell them "give me a cd key or I will find a hack". WON moved to a unified authentication system.
